During my tenure as the Member Secretary of the National Sports Council Nepal, I led a groundbreaking initiative aimed at modernizing and digitizing the organization’s operations, marking a significant milestone in the realm of sports governance. Recognizing the transformative potential of technology in enhancing transparency, accessibility, and efficiency, I prioritized the establishment of a robust digital infrastructure, including the development of a comprehensive website, a mobile application for iOS and Android platforms, Digital Ticketing and membership for Satdobato Swimming Pool and an engaging presence on social media platforms.

The cornerstone of this initiative was the creation of the National Sports Council Nepal’s first-ever comprehensive website, meticulously designed to serve as a one-stop destination for athletes, coaches, stakeholders, and enthusiasts alike. This user-friendly platform provided easy access to a wealth of information, including player profiles, sports schedules, event updates, and administrative announcements, empowering users with real-time insights into the vibrant landscape of Nepali sports.

In addition to the website, we launched the National Sports Council Nepal’s inaugural mobile application, available on both iOS and Android devices, catering to the evolving needs and preferences of our tech-savvy audience. This innovative app offered on-the-go access to a plethora of features, including live event streaming, training resources, fitness tracking tools, and interactive forums for community engagement, thereby fostering a dynamic and interconnected sports ecosystem.

Furthermore, recognizing the pivotal role of social media in fostering engagement and amplifying outreach, we established an informative and engaging presence across various social media platforms. Through strategic content creation, interactive campaigns, and live updates, we leveraged social media channels to connect with audiences nationwide, disseminate timely information, and celebrate the achievements of Nepali athletes on a global stage.

Crucially, amidst the digital transformation, we prioritized the implementation of robust data management practices, ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive information using Nepal Government IT infrastructure. By adopting state-of-the-art encryption protocols and access controls, we safeguarded the confidentiality of player data, financial records, and administrative documentation, instilling trust and confidence among stakeholders in the National Sports Council’s digital ecosystem.

The successful implementation of these initiatives not only elevated the National Sports Council Nepal’s technological capabilities but also fostered a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation within the organization. By embracing digital penetration, we democratized access to sports information, streamlined administrative processes, and empowered stakeholders to actively participate in the advancement of Nepali sports on a global scale.

As Member Secretary, I am immensely proud of this achievement, knowing that it has laid a solid foundation for the continued growth and prosperity of sports in Nepal, ensuring that every athlete’s journey is supported by the transformative power of technology.
