Dear Sports Enthusiasts and Stakeholders,

I extend a warm welcome to you as the Executive Head of the National Sports Council, Nepal. I lead our collective efforts towards fostering a sports ecosystem in our nation, focusing on crucial areas such as the commercialization of sports, enhancing international relations through sports diplomacy, and utilizing sports as a catalyst for tourism and economic growth.

In our endeavor to realize these goals, we identify priority areas that demand immediate attention. Firstly, we prioritize implementing comprehensive insurance policies for sports stakeholders, ensuring their security as they pursue their passion. Additionally, we are committed to establishing policies in collaboration with the government, aimed at recognizing the achievements of our athletes. Furthermore, integrating sports-based curriculum into our educational programs is significant. We aim to nurture the next generation of athletes and advance sports research, contributing to the development of our society. Alongside this, we dedicate ourselves to fostering grassroots development and inclusivity within the sports community.

Strengthening sports associations is crucial for creating a cohesive sports ecosystem. We focus on systematizing existing sports associations to enhance their impact. Additionally, promoting clean sports and implementing measures to combat doping are paramount to upholding the principles of fair play and integrity. Infrastructure development is essential for sports excellence. We are committed to providing facilities such as sports science labs, training centers, and venues, essential for nurturing talent. Ensuring accountability and sustainability through collaboration with local governments is crucial for the growth of sports in our nation.

In line with our commitment to excellence, we explore the establishment of competitive leagues to elevate sports standards and provide career opportunities for athletes. Our ultimate goal is to create opportunities for individuals to pursue careers in sports, ensuring a brighter future for all stakeholders.
