I am proud to announce a landmark achievement during my tenure. Under the National Sports Development Regulations 2079, which is now an officially recognized Act, we have successfully secured prize money for Nepali athletes who win international medals. This significant milestone ensures that our athletes receive the recognition and financial rewards they deserve for their dedication and excellence on the global stage.


Before this regulation, Nepali athletes who excelled in international competitions often faced uncertainty regarding their prize money. Despite their remarkable achievements, the lack of guaranteed rewards was a major issue, affecting their morale and financial stability. Recognizing the need for change, I led the initiative to incorporate legal guarantees for prize money into the National Sports Development Regulations 2079.


Implementing this regulation required navigating complex legal and administrative processes. It involved extensive collaboration with stakeholders, including government bodies, sports associations, and legal experts. The National Sports Development Regulations 2079 Act was meticulously designed to ensure that all Nepali international medalists receive timely and fair financial rewards. Some of the notable achievements I got to share includes:

• Legal Guarantee: For the first time, Nepali athletes winning international medals are legally assured of receiving their prize money. This eliminates past uncertainties and provides a stable and predictable reward system.
